Most grocery stores will slash their meat and deli products
at the end of the day. So it's best to shop at night. You
could cut your meat and cheese bill by 10% and save on the
average of $120 annually.
Same with baked goods. On occasion I get so busy I can only pick up groceries at night and was pleasantly surprised to find that this is true. Then I stock up my fridge freezer with chicken breasts, chops or steaks if they are on sale. There is usually time on the expiry dates. If you use the product from the freezer right away you are safe, and getting a great deal!!!!

If i am out with my mum at night and we go by a supermarket she always runs in because she picks up cooked chickens for like $3 instead of the $10 it would be during the day...
1I had no idea. Interesting! And a nice way to save a few clams.
2Hi laluna!!! Love the idea about the cooked chicken!!!!
3Love it bizzybee 'save a few clams'
4Great tip. I learned that when I worked at a grocery store in high school.
5If you double bag your freezer items, they will not freezer burn.
