Buy some Seeds From the Dollar Store
It is still not to late too plant seeds outside. They can be bought cheaply at the dollar store. Nasturtium and Sunflower will still have time to grow to produce great results. Nasturtium have bright flowers and fill in a lot of space.
Also look for signs where people are sell perennials at very low prices at their yard sales or at their curbside. Trade with neighbors, friends and family for the greatest deal of all - free!!!
Do you have any tips you can share about nifty- thrify gardening idea's?

I started some seedlings in door, put them out too early and they froze!!! I was amazed at how quickly the seeds came out when I planted them outside!!!
1Good ideas. I got most of my seeds through the garden park, when we go through there seeds to see what we wanted planted there. I've got 3 pots of Nasturtiums. For perennials I like local plant sales you can get some great things. or when we divide this at the garden park.
2Beach, i did the same thing with some of my pots then when it warmed up i replanted them outside and are looking great now.
3That is a good idea Mandy!!! replanting them to get them started again!!!

10The dollar stores have a lot of great stuff, as well as other "off price" stores.
I have found bargains through 4H fairs, the local earth day festival, farmers markets, etc....
